The Splash Awards celebrate the best Drupal projects on the web and is held in various countries in the world. The international edition gives Drupal case studies a global opportunity to get recognized. Each digital experience is a testimony to the power of Drupal and its possibilities for digital innovation. The awards were held in conjunction with DrupalCon Amsterdam 2019.
Almost 200 Drupal leaders as well as organisations that have adopted Drupal attended the awards ceremony.
Imre Gmelig Meijling, co-organizer of the awards: “It’s amazing to see the awards bring together more and more people each time. The Splash Awards is truly an open source award, with the award itself open for people to organize.”
Marie Madden, Digital Content Manager at Concern Worldwide: “At Concern, we are always looking for new ways to better connect with our supporters and showcase the incredible work of our overseas teams. Redeveloping our website was key to this and has been a landmark project for us over the past few years. Winning ‘Website of The Year’ is an amazing acknowledgment of the work put into this project both by our in-house digital team and our partners Torchbox and SystemSeed, who truly understood the key considerations from our perspective and were endlessly committed in helping us to turn them into a reality. “Our new website is audience-led, maximises the impact of our content and utilises the most effective technology to ensure a frictionless experience for our users. It’s also opened up a host of opportunities for the future so we’re delighted to see it receive this recognition.”
The Splash Awards recently underwent a rebranding, to ensure a strong and recognizable event in years to come.
